We are delighted to present Beosach: Journal of the Arts & Culture Programme of Age & Opportunity. This online journal from our Arts & Culture team is a chance for people to find out about interesting projects that are exciting us in the field of creative ageing.
Leaving a legacy to Age & Opportunity will make a difference to the world you leave behind. We only have so much time on this Earth but, at Age & Opportunity, we want to make that time as exciting and adventurous for older people as possible. We enrich their lives through the arts, sport, learning and active citizenship. If you, or someone you know, benefited from Bealtaine, Go for Life, Ageing with Confidence or our other programmes, then please consider leaving a legacy to Age & Opportunity. Successful 2015 grantees now announced. One of the main elements of the Go for Life Programme is the National Grant Scheme for Sport and Physical Activity for Older People. Running since November 2001, each year we allocate money to local groups all over the country, who are seeking to provide increased opportunities for older people to participate in sport and physical activity.
Creative Exchanges is a course for anyone leading creative activities with older people in care settings.
